Tammy is a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed school counselor in the state of Missouri. She received her Master’s Degree in professional counseling with honors from Lindenwood University in 2000. She completed a dual internship in both school and professional counseling in the early 2000’s where she specialized in working with children and teens. One of her most formative experiences was when she interned in a non-profit agency that focused primarily on helping children & families through the divorce process. Helping families transition during this difficult time is something she feels very passionate about and she continues to provide support to families as the owner of a small business in that field. After working for a few years in a clinical setting, Tammy returned to graduate school and earned an additional 30+ hours in education and counseling to become a licensed school counselor. This allowed her to transition into that role where she worked for almost 25 years supporting students, colleagues, counseling interns & families. During that time, she had the privilege of working with thousands of students to help them successfully navigate personal challenges and help meet their academic, emotional, and social goals.
